Overnight stay in upper Middle Harbour, May 23/24

For those of us with sticks-and-rags (yachts with a mast) try avoiding playing MIddle Harbour Bridge Limbo (so taking care to note the Spit Bridge opening times)..

We plan to head up into the upper arms of Middle Harbour and stay overnight in either Sugarloaf or Bantry Bay, surrounded by Garigal National Park. Lets hope for a dry weekend.

Chat with boat owners before the event (the social meeting is the Tuesday before), and see if you can finagle a bunk for the night.

Kayak access is another option, with several places you can put in (like Roseville bridge) or rent one from The Spit

Naval Museum visit and Watsons Bay lunch (Sun 10th May)

Hop on the F7 Eastern suburbs ferry and come with us to visit the Naval Museum (Garden Island), before we continue on to Watsons Bar for lunch at Doyles. The ferries which stop at Garden Island are 5 minutes before the hour (so a long wait if you miss it).

The museum is a short trip from Circular Quay, has an amazing collection, and the view of the Harbour (a short walk up the hill) is stunning.

If the museum isn’t your thing, just hop a later ferry to Watsons Bay and join us for a bite of lunch.
